This project involved the integration of various automated systems for the production of
16-bit video game-style art. It featured the configuration of an industrial FANUC robot tasked
with executing the intricate 16-bit drawings. To ensure the quality of these prints, OMRON Microhawk computer vision
systems were employed, analyzing each artwork for precision and adherence to designated specifications.
The system also incorporated a collaborative robot responsible for sorting the finished prints, enhancing the operational
efficiency of the production line. Further integration was achieved through PLC programming, which synchronized
the actions of the drawing robot, the sorting collaborative robot, the conveyor belt, and the storage system. This ensured
a seamless flow of operations from drawing creation to storage.
Each component of the system was calibrated to optimize speed and accuracy, using the LEAN Method.
The comprehensive setup exemplifies advanced automation in artistic production, showcasing how robotic precision can be harnessed to replicate complex
video game aesthetics efficiently.
